Last month, our General Manager Alexander Schwarz, joined Berlin Partner with business leaders across Berlin in a panel discussion on competitiveness and business growth in Germany’s vibrant capital at the PanAm Lounge.
Airbnb joined the “Berlin Partner” network, which includes more than 270 companies, in April to help advance Berlin’s position as a leading city for business and innovation.
Working hand in hand with Berlin Partner, Airbnb is committed to keeping Berlin competitive and open to young start-ups, entrepreneurs and the many guests who enjoy using Airbnb to visit Berlin every year. Our community of hosts across Berlin includes many creatives and entrepreneurs, so it is only natural that we support Berlin Partner’s ambitious agenda for the city.
The panel discussion was about how Berlin and global brands can learn from and leverage each other. In addition to Airbnb’s Alexander Schwarz, Uwe Dreher from BMW and Dagmar Nedbal from MasterCard Europe took the stage.
Berlin stands for innovation and openness and is one of the most popular destinations worldwide for Airbnb guests. We all benefit from exchange between established and young companies, creatives and Airbnb-hosts. With its diversity and possibilities, Berlin is one of the best cities to live and work in and we are excited about helping Berlin build more opportunities for everyone.
