Berlin-Pankow is home to families, artists, students, and many home sharers. The creation and activity of Homesharing Club Berlin has brought home sharers together in many districts in Berlin. Pankow is the latest area to join the action.
Home Sharing Clubs are initiated and led by regular people who share their homes and want to work with policymakers on clear home sharing rules. They meet regularly to discuss home sharing and plan concrete actions to encourage local policymakers to support the right of regular Berliners to share their homes. Last week, the first meetup in Berlin-Pankow took place.
The high turnout to the first Pankow meetup was no surprise – a clear sign that home sharers across Berlin want to meet and work together.
It was great to hear Pankow home sharers discuss actions they had already taken in support of clear home sharing rules and build on the success of the Berlin Homesharing Club. They now plan to launch their own district home sharing club to encourage local policymakers to support clear rules that distinguish between home sharing and commercial operators.
We are excited to see what the Home Sharing Club Pankow will achieve. Visit us right here for more updates.
